Our Lady of Ransom Church

Our Lady of Ransom Church is one of the oldest churches in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located in the town of Kanyakumari, which is the southernmost tip of mainland India. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Ransom, also known as Our Lady of Help.

The church was built in 1544, during the reign of the Portuguese viceroy, Francisco de Almeida.
